MORE ABOUT LAUREN
I’m a wedding and branding photographer from Toronto, Canada (will also travel wherever!), who loves to tell stories through photos. Est 2017.
My work brings me a profound sense of joy. I’m so fulfilled by the connections that I’m able to make and inspired by the people that I photograph, all around the world. I’m enriched by the creative process of it all and sharpened by the challenge of running my own business. Being a photographer is a special kind of magic (mixed with hard work and insanely long hours), and I adore every single moment of it.
It will never get old to me that people like you trust me with a window into your life’s most intimate moments. Growing up in Toronto and GTA for most of my life, I’ve had a camera in my hand for over two decades, been photographing weddings and couples for the past 5, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. And with that camera (who am I kidding, I’m usually juggling 2 or 3 of them at a time), I’m here to capture YOUR story, emotions, eye crinkles, belly laughs, and wholesome moments.
I document love in a fun and genuine way, and each image of mine is made with a balance of creative attention to detail, and photo-journalistic style; unscripted candids bursting with raw emotion, and deep connection found within the fleeting in-between moments.
And can I tell ya something? I absolutely LOVE what I do. I feel like I won some sort of lottery or cracked the code of who I was meant to be/do, because I couldn’t imagine a better role for myself. It’s a freaking blast. I get to attend these beautiful, magical, joy-filled wedding days filled with people like YOU and the people you love, and capture it all. It brings me sooooo much joy.
xx
TRAVEL MEETS PHOTOGRAPHY.
I’m also a curious explorer, an entrepreneur for over half my life (I’m 34), a forever teacher for anything I’ve ever learned, and I’d like to think I’m the cool aunt.
I’ve gratefully been able to bring my love for photography and travelling, and combine it together for the past 5 years for the ultimate work-life balance for me. Which means being home in Toronto for high season in the summer, and then being warm somewhere else in the world when it’s not (most always Brazil, since that’s where I call home), and I honestly couldn’t be happier with where I am. Being your own boss 365 days of the year definitely has its pros and cons, but I’ve thankfully really really really been able to lean into the pros of it right now.
** Currently abroad until end of June 2026.
