ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR: LAUREN PARK

Some of you who are booking lessons this summer have known me for well over a decade, and some of you are brand new that I’ve never met who are in search of some swimming lessons for you or your children! So, here’s a little recap of my experience:

I’ve instructed both Red Cross and Lifesaving Society swim programs since 2008, and I’ve worked with the Town of Caledon, the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, and the Town of Newmarket. I’ve lifeguarded my way through public swims, swim team practices, and eventually even started to help coach the Stouffville swim team and the Stouffville triathlon club. I’ve taught all the way from infants to grandparents, and ranging from 1:1 private lessons to 16-person Bronze Medallion classes. I truly feel like I’ve done it all these past 18 years!

Ok now let’s talk qualifications & certifications:
I’m a LSS Aquatic Supervisor, LSS Advanced Instructor, LSS Standard First Aid Instructor, LSS National Lifeguard, LSS Swim Instructor, LSS Lifesaving Instructor, LSS Emergency First Aid Instructor, Standard First Aid with CPR-C, and have completed the Exam Standards Clinic.
